SS-Hauptscharführer Georg Breitfeld 's photograph album (Bretifeld served with the'Wiking' Division). The standard 'Meine Kriegserinnerungen' album has just over 100 photographs. The photographs include two exceptional large-size portrait wedding photographs (both with slight tear to lower left) showing Breitfeld and his wife. various other photographs showing Breitfeld in uniform. Good close-up photographs of an SS-Obersturmführer (probably Breitfeld's commanding officer & bearing ink dedications to the reverse). Various typical photographs of training. Uniform related photographs showing the 'Wiking' cuffband, the officer einheitsmütze, and even the scarce to see cloth peaked 'old style' cap.  A selection of photographs showing the camouflage smock and  camouflage helmet cover being worn.

Also included with the album are: a death notice stating that Breitfeld was killed on the Russian front in 1944. A document (pre-printed) from 5.SS-Panzer-Division 'Wiking'. Document dated 1944 from the Race & settlement Office to Breitfeld, signed in ink by an SS-Brigadeführer and relating to Breitfeld's marriage. An assortment of other associated documents relating to Breitfeld, for example Feldpost letters etc. A photocopy of a hand-written letter from Breitfeld's commanding officer to his wife, confirming  Breitfeld had been killed.

 In summary; a very personal, and historic Waffen-SS photograph album with associated documents.
