1914-18 Scroll to Corporal Sydney Martin Ridgeway, Royal Engineers. The Scroll complete in its original frame, with framer's name and address to the reverse. The Scroll for sale together with Ridgeway's War Medal and Victory Medal, still retained in the box as issued.

Condition report: The Scroll in perfect condition. The frame in good clean condition and free from major damage. Original cardboard medal box complete with labels. The box showing some distress, and tied with old linen. The medal unissued with impressed name. Complete with unused ribbons.

Notes: Although Killed In Action, no research has been undertaken into Corporal Ridgeway's army career, or the circumstances of his death.

Provenance: The Ridgeway Scroll & medals were in the possession of the consigner's grandfather, Major Edward H.Scott. Sydney Ridgeway being his grandfather's cousin. A document of provenance accompany's the Scroll & medals. We are also selling the consigner's father's uniforms & ephemera (item b002007), and war souvenirs (item g008168).
