Condition report: The silver Military Medal in excellent to near mint condition. Replacement ribbon.

Note: Photocopies of various documents, including copy gazette for MM entitlement. Medal Index card showing entitlement to War & Victory Medals. Listing of Royal Engineer Companies who served on the Somme.   

Additional notes:The date of the London Gazette entry suggests the Military Medal was awarded for bravery during the Battle of the Somme.

The 81st Field Company was part- and fought with- the 19th (Western) Division, at:
