SS dagger for sale made by Eickhorn, Solingen. The 1933 pattern SS dagger being a later example, made by Eickhorn in 1938, with 'double-trade mark.'

The SS dagger with  ebony grip and plated mounts. The grip with Runes eye, and nickel-silver eagle  & swastika. The blade with SS motto to the obverse, and the 'double-trade mark' to the reverse, 'RZM 941/38 SS,' the Eickhorn maker-name and trade-mark. The scabbard with plated nickel-silver mounts, and typical painted scabbard. The dagger complete with a black leather hanger, along with belt loop.

Condition report: The upper- and lower dagger mounts with most nickel-silver plate finish remaining (98%). The ebony grip perfect, with a good Runes enamel eye and nickel-silver eagle & swastika with fine detail remaining.Excellent fit between grip and crossguards.

The blade in overall excellent towards near mint condition. Most crossgrain evident. Light runner marks. The blade free from greying or pitting.

Scabbard has the typical black painted finish with approximately 98% original black finish remaining. The plated scabbard mounts in very good condition with approximately 98%  plate finish. Bottom ball perfect. All screws present. Leather hanger supple. Spring clip operational.
