An  SS dagger for sale with the RZM maker code '121/34' The 1933 pattern  SS dagger with a fine  ebony wood dagger-grip. Perfect Runes eye (narrow Runes off-set from vertical) and nickel-silver eagle & swastika. The  upper- and lower cross guards, solid nickel-silver.

The blade with typical 'Meine Ehre Heisst Treue' SS motto to the obverse, and the 'SS 121/34 RZM' designation to the reverse. The scabbard with lacquer over anodised finish and solid nickel-silver upper- and lower mounts. The SS dagger complete with a black leather vertical hanger. The dagger hanger with RZM-marked spring fixing-clip.

Condition report: The SS dagger grip free from cracks or splits. Perfect fit of Runes eye and eagle & swastika. Perfect fit of grip to upper- & lower crossguards. Blade particularly clean and bright, and with most original crossgrain present. The SS motto nice and sharp and with some black anodising in place. RZM/SS maker-markings to the reverse remain beautifully clear. Typical runner marks present.

The anodised scabbard  in stunning condition, with most lacquer coat remaining over the steel blue anodised finish.The nickel-silver upper & lower mounts in near perfect order. The bottom ball perfect. All screws present. Vertical leather hanger remaining in excellent condition, still very supple. Some verdigris where the vertical hanger fits around the scabbard mounts. The verdigris indicating the hanger is not a later addition to the dagger.
