An  SS 1933 pattern dagger for sale with the RZM maker code '120/34.' The German, SS dagger made with a fine black ebony wood dagger-grip. Perfect Runes eye (thin Runes set on the diagonal) and nickel-silver eagle & swastika. The dagger with solid nickel-silver upper and lower cross guards. The lower crossguard stamped with the gruppe mark 'I.' The guard with the SS membership number impressed, '148958'.

The blade with typical 'Meine Ehre Heisst Treue' SS motto to the obverse, and the 'SS 120/34 RZM' designation to the reverse. The scabbard with anodised finish and solid nickel-silver upper and lower mounts.

Condition report: The SS dagger grip free from cracks or splits. Slight gaps present between grip and crossguards, undoubtedly from contraction. Perfect fit of Runes eye and eagle & swastika.

Blade polished, the original crossgrain to the blade removed from polishing. The SS motto with some black anodising remaining in place. RZM / SS maker markings to the reverse remain clear.

The anodised scabbard retaining a good overall finish free from fading, major dents or other damage. The lacquer coat typically disappeared. All nickel-silver mounts in generally good order. The bottom ball in one piece, small dent right at base. All screws present.

Note: The identity for the dagger maker bearing the code 120/34 remains unknown. SS daggers bearing this code are rarely offered for sale.
