SS dagger for sale, manufactured by Gottlieb Hammersfahr, Solingen. The 1933 pattern SS dagger with black ebony grip and solid nickel-silver upper and lower cross guards. The lower crossguard gruppe marked 'II'.

The blade with motto, along with the large Gottlieb Hammersfahr trademark to the reverse. The scabbard with an original black anodised finish. The scabbard mounts in solid nickle-silver. The dagger complete with the vertcal hanging strap.

Condition report: The ebony grip clean and free from damage. The nickle-silver and black enamel Runes eye in excellent condition freee from enamel loss. The nickle-silver eagle/swastika clear and well defined. Both emblems fitted well to the grip. The grip fitting particularly well to the upper and lower crossguards, free from any contraction. A clean screw top, and some light patina indicates that the dagger has not been disassembled in recent times. Blade in overall excellent condition with much crossgrain still visible (95%). The motto rermaining particularly clear and sharp. The Hammersfahr trademark particularly clear and sharp.

Scabbard clean, and free from dents or damage. 95% black amodised finish remaining, but laquer coat now gone. An overall pleasant appearance. Bottom ball with small dent to base. All screws present and looking unmolested.The vertical hanger supple, and the spring clip operational.
