A German SA  dagger for sale. The high-quality SA dagger made during the 1930s, and  presented to a member of SA Reiterstandarte 43. The light, fruit wood dagger- grip fits perfectly to the upper- and lower crossguards, the solid nickel-silver eagle & swastika  motif and SA Runes eye neatly set into the wood grip. Solid nickel-silver plated mounts thoughout as would be expected, and the lower crossguard  with Gruppe stamp 'Nrh'. The obverse to the blade has the 'Alles für Deutschland' motto. The reverse shows the E.P & S, Solingen trademark. The top mount to the scabbard with  the presentation dedication, 'Für Verdienste Verleihen Reiterstandarte 43'. Scabbard shell with original paint over the anodised finish.

 Condition report: The grip perfect and of beautiful quality. The guards excellent, and the top fastening nut in generally undamaged condition. The dagger blade retaining a good polished appearance with most of the original crossgrain evident. The scabbard with 90% original brown paint finish (close examination shows that this scabbard was originally anodised, as would be expected, and then painted at a later date).  Top mount with clear dedication. Sligtht rubbing of the top mount where the hanging ring is soldered (possibly caused at the time the engraving was initiated). Bottom ball with small dent right at the base. All screws present.
