SA Dagger By Puma. 1933 Pattern. Fine Condition.
An SA dagger for sale made by Puma, Solingen. The 1933 pattern, German SA dagger, in beautiful condition, with a fine rose-brown, fruit-wood grip which fits well to the upper and lower cross guards. All solid nickel-silver mounts throughout; the lower cross guard bearing the Gruppe stamp 'Wf' for Westfalen.
The blade with the SA motto to the obverse, and the Puma maker-name and trademark to the reverse. The scabbard in the typical brown 'anodised' finish, and retaining its correct brown leather hanging strap.
Condition report: The SA dagger grip in excellent condition, free from any cracks, splits or other damage. The nickle-silver mounts uncleaned and with slight age patina showing. The SA dagger blade with 99% original polish and crossgrain, crisp motto, which retains most of the original blackening to the letters. The scabbard with 98% of the brown 'anodised' finish, and a moderate amount of the original lacquer visible (particularly towards the nickle-silver mounts). The scabbard shell free from any dents or other damage. The leather, dagger-hanger fresh looking and supple.
