Royal Flying Corps 'sweetheart' brooch for sale. The silver, RFC sweetheart brooch with light blue and white enamelled wings. Central 'RFC' initials in silver on black enamel, and with a silvered Kings crown enamelled in red.

To the base a blue enamel scroll with Royal Air Force motto, Per Ardua Ad Astra, in silver.*

Reverse with a horizontal brooch fitting, and 'GL'  maker initials, and 'Sterling Silver' lettering impressed to the base.

Condition report: Close to mint condition. Light age patination.
