The lower crossguard with Polizei district stamp 'SM III 1003'. The sides mounted with staghorn grip plates, and with a wreathed Polizei eagle & swastika to the center. The polished steel blade double Alcoso marked, and with the Waffenamt stamp to the upper edge. The scabbard in black leather and with nickle-silver upper and lower mounts. The upper-mount with matching Polizei district stamp, 'SM III 1003.'

Condition report: The nickle-silver eagle head in excellent condition. The staghorn grip plates perfect, free from splits or damage. The blade with 98% polished steel finish, free from graying (very slight pitting at the point, typically caused by transition shortening). The scabbard with a fine black leather body, good colour, and just light use. The upper- and lower nickle-silver mounts in excellent overall condition. The bottom ball perfect. Both mount-staples in place and tight.
