German Polizei Officer sword carried by SS member for sale. The sword made by Voos, Solingen. The mounts in plated nickel-silver. The  black painted grip with silver wire bands and with the cut-in, silvered, wreathed eagle & swastika. The pommel cap with the SS Runes to the center. The sword with Voos-marked blade in polished steel. The scabbard with black paint finish.

Condition report: The nickle-silver plated fittings in overall very good condition, more plate loss to the bottom scabbard mount (typicallyl). Black painted grip showing some light use (about 85% black finish remaining). Polished steel blade in very good to excellent condition. A couple of small areas of greying, otherwise the polished finish remaining. The scabbard with approximately 70% black paint finish.

Note: The SS Runes pommel cap indicates a Police officer having taken on SS membership at some point during his career.
