The Naval Achievements, originally published in 1816 on behalf of Jenkins. This faithful facsimile of the original edition, undertaken by noted expert Sim Comfort, was almost ten years in the making, primarily hampered by such issues as finding an exact paper match etc. Beautifully hand case bound with a full navy blue buckram binding, the edition has the 55 full colour prints of Napoleonic naval battles (as did the original). Every major Napoleonic naval battle is featured within the pages of this 'bible'. With original 1816 editions fetching around £12,000 - £15,000, this limited edition (600 copies) looks surprisingly cheap (whilst it is still available).
