A Light Dragoon flintlock pistol for sale. The regulation .65 flintlock pistol of New Land Pattern, made circa 1802. The lock bears the Tower and crowned 'GR' markings, along with standard border engraving. The 9 inch round barrel bears the typical King's proofing stamps, with crown inspection stamp (in this instance '4') to the tang. Additionally, the barrel is also stamped with a number '9' to the lock-side. The pistol features the standard swivel ramrod. The walnut  body carries the usual brass finishings, including the butt. 

Condition report: The pistol remains in good clean condition, and with clear  and fine 'Tower' and crowned 'GR' markings. The pistol with a strong working action, and complete. Small area of wood loss to  reverse side of the butt, plus some old furniture repair to the base.
