NSKK Chained Dagger | Standarte Marked.

NSKK chained dagger for sale. The German dagger made by Gottfried Weyersberg, Solingen with fine wooden grip in deep brown, and  SA Runes eye, and nickle-silver eagle/swastika motifs. The NSKK dagger with solid nickle-silver upper-and lower- crossguards, plus nickel-silver plated mounts to the scabbard. The blade with typical SA/NSKK motto to the obverse. The reverse with Gottfried Weyersberg maker-name.

The scabbard with black painted finish, and with nickel-silver plated scabbard mounts. The chains with alternating eagle/swastika, sunwheel-swastika motifs, along with the top oakleaves spring clip. The reverse to the chains with the NSKK Musterschutz- and RZM- designation. The dagger with its leather belt loop, and 'D' ring.

The lower-crossguard and scabbard top-mount with unit designation, and SA/NSKK owner  membership number, 'R84 / 17207.'

Condition report: The dagger in overall very good-to-excellent condition. The wood grip with good obverse. A good fit: the upper- and lower-crossguards, with little contraction. Runes with near-perfect enamel. The eagle & swastika clean and with good detail. The top nut showing signs of removal. Upper- and lower-crossguards with approximately 85% plate finish. The blade with 90% of its original polish and crossgrain with runner marks. The scabbard with 85% original black paint finish. The plated chains with a good 90% plate finish  to the obverse, and with more overall plate-loss to the reverse.  All screws present and un-disturbed.

Notes: Up-graded piece with typical earlier knife within the chained scabbard. NSKK & SS members often  retained their [symbolically important] 1933 daggers, and simply used that when the chained scabbard became available.
