NSDAP Ortsgruppen flag for sale. The NSDAP, late 1930s, German flag, for 'Bürger-Wiesen' with later-manufacture, silver aluminum fringing, brown wool canton with blue border, and white,  chain stitched wording, 'Bürger-Wiesen.' 

Typical for the later 1930s, the NSDAP Ortsgruppen flag, with a black, cotton-silk, mobile swastika charge, stitched to a white, cotton-silk, roundel.

The aluminium flag rings are all present to the hoist. The flag rings are also, 1937 date-coded, RZM- and maker-stamped.

The NSDAP flag is in excellent overall condition, free from mothing. A few stains to the red field.

Provenance: The NSDAP Ortsgruppen flag was found in Hamburg, by a Royal Navy Officer, participating in mine clearance, during 1945. Letter from son included in the sale.
