Dirty Dozen, British Army service watch for sale. The WW2, Dirty Dozen watch made by Jaeger Le Coultre, Switzerland, circa 1944. 

The Dirty Dozen watch with satin silver over brass, turned case (47mm x 37mm excluding crown), and contract, stainless steel screw case-back. Typical black dial with the Jaeger Le Coultre trade-name, and War Department arrow. The dial with 1-12 hour digits, 60-second scale with luminous hour-marks. Subsidiary seconds-dial at 18.00 hrs.

To the reverse, case-back with markings, War Department  arrow, 'WWW F 12360,' and serial number; the inside to the case-back with arrow and serial number. The particularly high quality, 15-jewel movement in brass, and with nicely-finished 'Geneva Stripes' to the main bridges. The watch balance with screw-in weights. The Jaeger Le Coultre trade name, and movement number positioned to the main Bridge.  

Condition report: Light use to the case. plexi-glass clear and free from adverse scratching. Dial excellent and original. Luminosity markers now dulled with age. Hands correct and with now dulled luminosity finish. Case-back clean and free from adverse scratches or damage. Movement Particularly clean and fresh looking. Recent full service. Fully functioning and six months warranty: the watch is not guaranteed 'waterproof.'

Notes: The Jaeger Le Coultre is generally regarded by collectors as the Dirty Dozen maker with the most beautiful movement.
