A Luftwaffe observer watch for sale made by A. Lange & Söhne.

The WW2, Luftwaffe observer watch dial, case and movement  in excellent condition; the movement with fine goose neck regulation. The  observer watch case retains most of its original lacquer finish. The case-back bears the full A. Lange & Söhne maker details. The side to the watch case shows the typical 'FL 23883' number.  

The original brown leather buckled watchstrap shows wear, but is in overall very good condition. The watch glass has a small  crack to one side, along with a few scratches (although this plexi-glass could be replaced, this is the original glass to  the watch). 

It is understood, the observer watch was overhauled by A. Lange & Söhne in the late 1990s. Supporting paperwork is not included in the sale. The Luftwaffe observer watch has maintained accurate time in recent tests.
