A Luftwaffe Observer watch for sale. The Luftwaffe Observer watch made for the German Ministry of Aviation, (RLM), circa 1939/40.*

The Luftwaffe Observer watch with typical RLM-series, first-pattern dial. Case is in grey metal with lacquer finish, the back-plate with the designation, 'RLM Nav B-Uhr 1442,' and 'FL 23883' contract number to the side. Large-style, replacement strap.

The fine, Swiss-made movement with Geneva Stripes. The manufacturer name, 'A.R. & J.E. Meylan' is engraved into the main bridge.

Condition report: Dial and case  in perfect condition: the case with much of the original lacquer finish. Movement clean and working. No warranty implied.
