Iron Cross 1st Class for sale with original issue-case. The 1st Class, 1914-1918, cased Iron Cross, with silver rim, along with iron centre. Reverse with vertical flat pin assembly. The maker's mark 'KO' stamped just below the bottom hook.The high-quality, Iron Cross issue-case, in dark brown leatherette, detailing a silver, Iron Cross cartouche to the lid. The issue-case is lined with off-white silk to the lid, and fitted purple-velvet to the base.

Condition report: The Iron Cross very good condition. Some slight black paint loss to the iron centre. The Iron Cross remaining uncleaned and with a pleasant darkened appearance. The case in excellent condition.
