A Royal Navy deck watch for sale made by Elgin. The WW2. H.S.3. Royal Navy deck watch, with Elgin's B.W.Raymond movement; Raymond being the founder of Elgin: the B.W. Raymond name assigned to Elgin's premium-quality watch movements.

The H.S.3. deck watch has a chrome-over-brass case, with screw fit case-back. White enamel dial with 1-12 hour digits, and centre seconds. The dial marked 'ELGIN', and with the British War Department 'Arrow' cartouche.

Case-back bears the maker designation, 'ELGIN NATIONAL WATCH CO', along with Elgin's  low '192,' serial number. In addition the markings, H.S.3., War Department serial number '53706,' and 'Arrow.'

To the inside, the case-back with impressed makers name and the designation 'Keystone.' The  21-jewel movement being particularly hight quality with the grade designation B.W.Raymond, and movement serial number; typical for most very high quality movements, this may be adjusted to five positions. Gilted brass bridges with fine Geneva Stripes. Nicely jewelled, with a high quality regulation

Condition report: The Royal Navy watch in close to mint, unused condition, with storage age only. Original, high-chromed finish perfect. Satined case-back close to perfect with all finish intact. Movement fresh and clean, free from damage.
