NSDAP member, Heinrich Höchst's large size Golden Party Badge

Buying named pieces - It doesn't get better !

 Gold Party Badge for sale. The named, Gold Party Badge with standard brooch-pin. Large-size (30.50 mm). Obverse with enamel front; the red enamel translucent and over a fine engine-turned base. The outer border with golden oakleaves. The reverse  with standard brooch pin-fitting, the main holder with full 'Deschler München' address. Additionally, the 'Ges Gesch' stamping to the upper section, and impressed membership number '77 834' to the lower section.

Condition report: overall very good condition. Showing light use from wear, which includes minor scratches to the centre of the enamel. Approximately 80% mercuric gilt plating remaining to the obverse. A single, small chip to the white, outer enamel border at 22.00hrs.

Note: Gold Party Badges were initially supplied  (from 1934), with machine-engraved numbers.  Machine-impressed numbers being introduced slightly later.

Additional notes: Golden Party Badge number '77 834' was awarded to NSDAP member, Heinrich Höchst. This is confirmed by two sources; the publication, Die Träger des Goldene Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP im Gau Thüringen (1937) and  Die Träger des Goldene Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP im Gau Hessen-Nassau (1941; this source also confirms Höchst joined the NSDAP on 1st March 1928.
