Dirty Dozen watch for sale. The WW2, British Army watch, made by Timor, Switzerland, with typical matt-silvered case, black dial, white digits and subsidiary seconds at 18.00hrs.
The screw case-back with impressed Timor maker name, War Department arrow, 'WWW' designation (being one of the first, official standards for a military issue watch), and 'K' prefix (Timor code) serial number. Duplicate details stamped to the inside case-back.
The Dirty Dozen watch for sale complete with its inner- case, (revealing the movement when removed). The good quality 15- jewel calibre 6060 movement is adjusted to four positions. The movement signed Timor to the main bridge.
Condition report: The case in near-excellent condition for its type, with little-to-no wear to the matt silver finish. Dial near-perfect. Case-back clean (and free from adverse scratches): engraved details clear. The movement particularly clean and with good patination to the silvered bridges.
