Battle of Waterloo 50th anniversary '1815 - 1865' plaque for sale. Manufactured in bronzed spelter, circular form with the memorial lion to the top, along with the dates 1815 - 1865. Relief names of the commanders around the rim, Wellington, Bluecher, Oranje. To the centre, a scene of the victory at Waterloo. The bronzed spelter plaque mounted within its original Victorian black ebony circular frame. Size: 10" diameter with frame.

Condition report: Some light use to the wood frame. The bronzed spelter in excellent condition and free from any damage. Reverse with wood packing and top metal wall hanger.

Note: There is a number '076' pencilled to the wood back, possibly indicating an issue number. It is believed these were produced in small numbers on a subscription basis, for the anniversary in 1865.
