An Allgemeine-SS peak visor cap for sale. The early, officer, SS peak visor cap made in premium quality black doeskin, with a fine black velvet cap-band, white piping, and typical, black leather peak visor.

The Allgemeine-SS peak visor cap with it original, matching, M1929, washed, nickel-silver, eagle & swastika, jawless skull-insignia, and a set of the earlier high-quality, silvered capcords (as opposed to the later, silver-aluminum capcords). The cords are held in position by fine nickel-silver pebble-finished buttons.

The Allgemeine-SS peak visor is lined with standard, black silk, a full celluliod diamond to the crown, and a mid-brown leather sweatband. The large white 'Dienstmutze' RZM/SS linen label is positioned behind the sweatband. The peak visor cap has a lower (and rather jaunty) front, being typical of early, 1930s caps.

Condition report: The Allgemeine-SS peak visor cap is offered for sale in close to mint condition, free from moth or damage.

The cap insignia remain bright with all the original nickle-silver wash in place (as do the matching pebble finish side buttons). The silver capcords are also free from much age toning, with just a pleasant light tone overall. The lining is clean, and (with the exception of a small split to the celluliod diamond), free from damage or extensive use.
