A significant, and early addition to the collection.

Allgemeine-SS Hauptamtschef cuff title for sale. The SS cuff title with silver-aluminium brocade band with black woven cotton upper- and lower borders. Machine ends. The RZM/SS black silk label with 1937 manufacture date to one end.

Condition report: Full length as per this type (42.0 cm), carefully removed from a tunic cuff. Some general service wear. One section to each end being originally sewn into the cuff seam and therefore  cleaner than the main band. RZM/SS black silk label intact.

Provenance: The Ulric of England  SS Cuff Title Collection. The Hauptamtschef cuff title was purchased in 1986 from the American SS collector, Darrell Williams. Photographed in two books: Collecting Third Reich SS & Political Cuff Titles [Volume 1. Page 22], and Inside The Allgemeine-SS,  [page 270].

Notes: Hauptamtschef cuff titles were worn by several notable figures including  Reichsführer-SS Himmler, Head office Chiefs, and Chiefs of the Three Main Offices, SS General Xaver Schwarz (in his capacity as NSDAP Treasurer), SS General Buch, (as Supreme NSDAP Judge), and  RF-SS Chief Adjutant.  All told, this still amounted to less than twenty posts.

Rarity status (Up to 10 rarest): 10/10. An exceptionally rare and desireable cuff title.
