Early addition to The Collection

SS-Totenkopfverbände cuff title for sale. Silver-aluminium hand-embroidered 'SS-Totenkopfverbände' on black band with silver-aluminium (seven-strand) borders. Both ends machined (typical for this cuff title). RZM/SS black silk label confirming a manufacture date of 1937.

Condition report: Removed from a tunic sleeve. Full length as per this type (49.0 cm), overall good  condition, showing general service wear.  The RZM/SS black silk label machined to one end.

Provenance: Ulric of England SS Cuff Title Collection. Acquired 1988 from American Houston-based collector, James Townsend. 

Notes: Introduced for wear from 1937. SS-Totenkopfverbände cuff titles were worn by officers serving on the staff of SS-TV units.
