An SS chained dagger for sale. The text-book quality, 1936 pattern, 'Type-2,' SS chained dagger, with a fine ebony grip with the early nickel-silver eagle/swastika motif, and an  originally-wrapped, silver aluminum portepee.

The dagger grip in excellent condition. Similarly the unmarked dagger blade is in excellent overall condition, nice and bright and with much original crossgrain present. The SS chained dagger with typical, 'Type-2,' solid nickel-silver chains, with the finely impressed Runes and octagon to the reverse.

The typical, black-painted scabbard is in overall excellent condition with 90% finish remaining: close scrutiny will reveal light spidering caused by age. The solid nickel-silver fittings are in excellent condition.

Excellent detail to the chain links, with much of the anodised darkening present. The bottom ball to the dagger is in close to perfect condition.
