German Army (Heer) visor cap for sale. The Feldgendarmerie, 'crusher-style'  visor cap made by Erel with a field grey doeskin crown, dark green cap-band, and orange piping.

To the fore, the typical 'crusher-style,' officers, BeVo woven, silver-wire eagle & swastika  insignia, on pale-grey backing. The BeVo woven silver-wire oakleaves with central cockade. Both pieces of  insignia being machine-sewn to the cap at the point of manufacture. The visor is typically in black leather.

The cap is lined in gold-coloured silk. The 'Erel' trademark is just visible to the inside. The leather sweatband is ventilated to the front.

Condition report: Externally the Heer 'crusher-style' cap remains bright and unfaded, the orange piping is fresh and vibrant. There is slight mothing to the crown, however this is only to the nap, and barely visible.

The leather  visor with  age-related craquelure. The lining and leather sweat-band show signs of age-relate use, with greasing to the lining cloth.
