Golden Party Badge for sale. The 'small size' Golden Party Badge of the original Fuess, München manufactured pieces.

The red enamel  to the obverse  being  translucent and over a particularly fine, engine-turned base. The outer border with golden oakleaves, and typical 'Fuess' sun-ray background. The reverse  with a contemporary jeweller replaced brooch pin assembly, in favour of a more substantial hinged pin with opening socket. The impressed number '48 054' to the lower section.

Condition report: The Golden Party Badge in excellent overall condition. showing little use overall. Approximately 95% mercuric gilt plating left to the obverse. The badge enamel in excellent general condition, free from any major damage and with a fine-sheen still apparent. The reverse in excellent condition with the replacement pin assembly in good working condition.

Note: The small brooch pin assembly fitted by Fuess were notorious for being short-lived. Due to the complexities of paperwork involved, and time taken, to purchase a replacement badge through the Party system, many members opted for having a better quality jeweller replaced hinge assembly fitted.
