A Blood Order for sale with original 'buttonhole' ribbon. The 2nd Pattern, 'Austrian Putsch' Blood Order, numbered '2278' and impressed '800' silver content number.

The Blood Order Medal retains its grey anodised finish (90%), and has the expected 'die flaws' for this production period. The original moire silk, buttonhole ribbon, shows light use overall.

Note: Comparatively few 2nd Pattern Blood Orders have buttonhole-style ribbons: Blood Orders conferred to recipients as Honour awards, c.f. Putschist awards, were generally not worn, (the Blood Order ribbon displayed on the tunic -  the Blood Order Medal remaining in the issue case).

The 2nd Pattern Blood Order is for sale with its original buttonhole ribbon, (and therefore possibly conferred as a 'late-issue,' to an original, 1923 Putschist - or more possibly, an Austrian Putschist).
