Allgemeine-SS Officers early issue nickel-silver buckle complete with belt. The black leather belt with both black leather slides, along with correct nickel-silver keeper. The belt with full inked RZM logo stampings, along with a faint stamp, 'Gemeinde Burgstall'. There is also the size stamp, '110'. The SS officers buckle  in nickel-silver with the eagle & swastika motif, and SS motto to the lower section. The reverse stamped, 'RZM SS 35/36'. The crosstrap has matching nickel-silver fittings throughout, with RZM marked leather. The circular box is in a mottled black and blue paper over board finish, with a tissue paper still present in the base.

Condition report: The belt and buckle in very good to excellent condition, showing just light use. The buckle remaining crisp, and with detail clear. The belt leather supple. The box in overall clean condirtion with some use showing. The base loose.

Notes: Initially Allgemeine-SS Officers wore a black leather belt with nickel-silver buckle. This high quality version carried through until approximately 1936, when the first aluminium manufactured buckles were produced. Today, the nickel-silver buckles are particularly sought after by collectors for both their rarity and quality.
