German Army visor cap rarity from Gebirgsjäger - Pionier Regt.54

 Gebirgsjäger-Pionier OR/NCO visor cap for sale. The visor cap with a good light field grey wool crown, with dark green cap-band, and black piping. The cap insignia includel silver metal eagle & swastika, edelweiss, along with oak leaves- cockade. The peak visor cap is lined with beige silk showing a  celluloid diamond with a full makers name and address.

Unit stamps remaining visible inside the sweat-band, confirming the peak visor cap originally belonged to a member of Gebirgsjäger-Pionier Regiment '54.'

Condition report: The cap with general light use evident. A couple of moth tracks to the crown. Nice shape and combat-use feel.
