Fallschirmjager Badge By BSW | Cased

Fallschirmjäger (Paratrooper) badge manufactured by BSW with case. This example being earlier production. The badge with dark anodised grey wreath and mercuric gilt eagle/swastika. The wing edge of the eagle, along with the swastika burnished to a crisp polished appearance. The reverse with the typical small dome rivets. The BSW initials within the cloverleaf, impressed to the centre. Typical needle pin assembly. The case of issue in dark blue with the gold blocked designation to the lid. Interior with blue flocked base, along with blue flocked roof.

Condition report: Badge with 98% silvered and gilt finish remaining. Some pleasant age darkening to the silvered wreath. The case in overall very good towards excellent condition. A mark to the inside roof caused by the eagle part of the badge puching against the flocking. Case fastener functioing.
