Luftwaffe Fallschirmjäger M38 helmet with Normandy camouflage for sale. The helmet finished in the typical mid-war dark field-blue paint with single Luftwaffe eagle/swastika decal present. The shell with additional splotches of light green paint to creat a camouflage effect. The helmet with spanner hole & air hole side bolts produced in steel. Interior with full lining present  giving a stamped helmet size of '68', and head size of '56'. The liner with manufacturer name (now to faint to read)'. The helmet complete with field blue leather chinstraps with mid-war buckle assembly. The helmet stamped 'T 68' and batch '5029'.

Condition report: The helmet offered for sale in  overall very good service used condition. The shell with approximately 90% dark field-blue paint, along with light green splotches. The light green splotches now faint from service / combat use. The single decal still present ((60%). The lining fully-marked and free from damage or alteration. The leather remaining supple, albiet heavily service / combat used. The chinstrap asssembly complete and supple male and femail press stud fastener present.
