SS Cuff Title | Grenz-Polizei 

SS  Grenz-Polizei cuff title with unique 'semi-flatwire' manufacture. Very fine silver-aluminium machine-woven letters on black, with typical RZM style silver (7- strand) borders.

Condition report: Full length, close to mint condition.

Notes: From July 1933, the customs and border control was reinforced with SS personnel. By 1937, this special unit was under the contorl of the Securty Services headed by Reinhard Heydrich. At its height, the unit numbered just over 1500 men. In October 1941, the SS Grenz Polizei was disbanded.
