Luftwaffe 2nd pattern dagger for sale manufactured by Arthur Everit, Solingen. The Luftwaffe dagger with a beautiful deep orange ivorine grip complete with fine aluminium wire binding. The pommel and crossguard in dark anodised finish over aluminium base. The pommel swastikas picked out in gold. A silver aluminium wire portepee wrapped to the lower section of the grip.

The dagger with highly polished blade with the manufacturer cartouche AES. The steel scabbard  remains complete with a dark anodised finish and with contrasting aluminium oakleaf bands. The dagger complete with a set of hangers with blue & silver braidings on blue velvet backings.

Condition report: The dark anodised aluminium fittings in good sharp condition and with most anodise remaining. The pommel top with approximately 95% gilt finish remaining to the swastika emblems. Excellent grip in a fine deep orange finish and complete with aluminium wire binding. The blade in excellent condition with most mirror polished finish remaining. The scabbard remaining in very good to excellent condition, with most of the dark grey anodised finish remaining (approximately 90%). Both the portepee and the hangers remaining in an equally excellent condition (the braid to one hanger is a slightly lighter colour than the other, it looks as though it may have been like this when manufactured.
