Kriegsmarine Ships clock for sale. The brown painted tin-plate WW2 Kriegsmarine clock made by  Junghans. Silvered dial with black numbers. The dial bearing both 1-12 hours, along with the 24 hour numbers. Subsidiary seconds at the 12.0 position. Adjustment for time keeping directly below the 12.0 position. Lower centre with Junghans name and logo, along with the winding section below the logo, and the eagle / swastika & M above the 6.0 position. Chrome surround with glass front. Main body of the clock in mid-brown painted tin-plate. 8-Day Calibre W246 movement. Three holes for fixing to a wall.

Condition report: The  clock dial and case  in good overall condition. The brown paint intact, and in good condition. The tin-plate body free from dents. One split to the tin-plate at the 10.00 position. Movement functioning. No warranty implied.

Provenance: Acquired in the early 1980s for the ULRIC of ENGLAND collection. Featured in German Military Timepieces Volume 4 pages 110/111.

Notes: These Junghans ships clocks are believed to have been manufactured later in the war when brass was becoming a restricted metal for war effort. They are rare to find on the market today.
