Gold Party Badge for sale. The 'large-size' Gold Party Badge with the coveted 'military pin' fitting to the reverse.

The red enamel  to the obverse  being  translucent and over a particularly fine, engine-turned base. The outer border with golden oakleaves. The reverse  with the vertical flat pin assembly. The main disc with the impressed cartouche to the upper section, bearing the raised 'Ges Gesch' designation, the central air hole, and the impressed numbers '59 225' to the lower section.

Condition report: The Gold Party Badge in excellent overall condition. showing little use overall. Approximately 95% mercuric gilt plating to the obverse. The badge enamel in close to perfect condition, free from any damage and with a fine-sheen.

Note: Later production Gold Party Badges (including this example offered for sale), were made with a vertical, flat pin assembly, and are generally referred to as the Military Pin version.
