A pair of Gold Party Badges for sale with original presentation case. The Gold Party badges being a 'Presentation set' with matching numbers. The group includes the 30.50 mm large-size Gold Party Badge with the coveted 'military pin' fitting to the reverse, plus the 25.0 mm version with standard brooch-pin fitting. The Gold Party badges housed in the fitted, red leather presentation case.

The large Gold Party Badge with enamel  to the obverse  being  translucent and over a particularly fine, engine-turned base. The outer border with golden oakleaves. The reverse  with the vertical flat pin assembly. The main disc with the impressed cartouche to the upper section, bearing the raised 'Ges Gesch' designation, the central air hole, and the impressed numbers '52 651' to the lower section.

The small Gold Party Badge with enamel  to the obverse  being  translucent and over a particularly fine, engine-turned base. The outer border with golden oakleaves. The reverse  with the standard brooch pin assembly, and of the later Deschler manufacture. The reverse bearing the typical air hole, and the impressed numbers '52 651' to the lower section.

The red leather presentation case with impressed 'Führer' eagle & swastika  (in gold) to the top, and with gold banding to the edge. The case lined with off-white silk to the lid, and an off-white,fitted, velvet base allowing the Gold Party Badges to sit perfectly.

Condition report: Both Gold Party Badges remain in excellent to near mint overall condition. showing little use overall. Approximately 95% mercuric gilt plating left to the obverse and reverse. The enamel to the badges in excellent condition, free from any major damage and with a fine-sheen still apparent. The presentation case in excellent to near-mint condition. Free from any adverse wear or marks to the leather.

The golden impressed 'Führer' eagle & swastika, and golden band, both showing typical age patina. The opening button working. To the inside the lid good to excellent. Velvet base in generally good to excellent condition.

Note: It is generally accepted that cased presentation sets were given to recipients, personally by Adolf Hitler.

A relatively few cased, Gold Party badges (as matching pairs) are known to exist post-war. Extremely rare.
