An SS-VT peak visor cap for sale. The crown to the OR/NCO peak visor cap in typical field-grey wool cloth, with a black wool capband and white piping. The peak visor cap retains its cupro-nickel eagle/swastika, skull, and black leather 'split centre' strap.

The SS peak visor cap is lined with orange-coloured moire cloth, detailing a full celluliod diamond with golden-blocked rune decoration. The cap size, '56' is located just above the runes; a name tag confirms the original owner's name and SS number.

Ink stamps to the crown lining confirm the SS-VT cap  originated from the 'Statni' concern in Czechoslovakia, (for additional information see Deutschland Erwache, by Ulric of England,p 447). A ventilated leather sweatband is positioned to the front.

Condition report: The SS-VT peak visor exterior is in excellent condition  being free from moth or damage. The SS cap insignia showing just light use with most silvering present. The fibre-peak showing slight age cracking and slight loss of black finish in a couple of areas on the lead edge. The cap lining  shows some light use overall, with slight greasing to the leather sweatband.
