WW2 German M35 steel helmet for sale. The Heer combat helmet, without decals, as issued, and complete with original lining and chinstrap.

The M35 German steel helmet with  dark green paint. The shell stamped '741' to the rear, and 'Q64' to the side, (owner-name painted to the rear of the shell, difficult to read, may possibly be 'Barteduh K24 ).An additional name inked to the leather lining, possibly 'Keim'.

The German helmet complete with its mid-brown leather lining (ink stamped '56'), original draw-string and correct, leather chinstrap.

Condition report: Untouched since 1945, marvellous combat patina. Helmet retaining approximately 60% of the original dark green paint. Chinstrap remaining reasonably supple. Lining showing some combat use. Drawstring original.

Provenance: Found during a house clearance. Brought back to England by a former British soldier.
