Waffen-SS Soldatenfreund 1943 - Personal diary of a Dutch-SS soldier. Standard format Soldatenfreund diary with black board covers and impressed silver SS Runes.  The diary with pages of useful information, along with the diary section for the year, and various full colour plates showing the ranks for all the main services. The diary filled in by the soldier.

Condition report: Showing general use. The spine still intact. A few pages at the back are now loose. Some general yellowing of the paper through age.

Note: An important historical document. The diary belonged to a J.V.D.Most from Rotterdam. He held rank in the Dutch Jeugstorm, as well as the SS. Most has written notes throughout the days of the year 1943, along with various names & addresses. It is particularly rare to find a Soldatenfreund which has been filled in. Further research should be possible.

Provenance: Acquired for the Meadway collection in 2008.
