Fresh-To-Market

Good-To-Excellent Condition

Great Provenance

Allgemeine-SS Officers Reichsführung-SS cuff title for sale. The hand-embroidered cuff title with silver-aluminium script 'Reichsführung-SS'  and silver-aluminium (seven strand)   borders on a black band. Both ends machined (typical of this cuff title).

The SS cuff title with two RZM/SS paper stores labels. A single B-rated label denoting the manufacturer of the band cloth, and a single F-rated label for the hand-embroiderer.

Condition report: Full length as per this type (49.0 cm), overall very good to excellent condition. Light use visible. Slight snagging to the lower silver-aluminium border just after the 'SS' lettering. The RZM/SS paper stores labels intact.

Provenance: Ulric of England Collection. The cuff title purchased in 1984 from military historian and SS collector, Andrew Mollo. Photographed in Collecting Third Reich SS & Political Cuff Titles [Page 54].

Notes: Introduced for wear from September 1939.  Reichsführung-SS cuff titles were worn (in conjunction with sleeve diamond insignia) by officers serving within SS head offices. The design of the sleeve diamond insignia was specific to each office and  enabled immediate identification.

Rarity status (Up to 10 rarest): 10/10.
