German steel helmet for sale with double-decals. The M35, WW2, German steel helmet with double, eagle & swastika - and tri-colour decals.  

The German steel helmet with its original, 1935-dated chinstrap, bearing the maker-name 'Nordmark.' The helmet-shell with production-number '4555,' maker-code & size (56) stamping 'ET64.' The leather lining with inked owner-name, 'Obltn Sprätz.'*  

Condition report:The uncleaned, WW2 German helmet in near mint condition. The helmet with 98% apple-green finish, and both decals surviving at 99%. The tan lining showing light use only (a single, old repair, to one of the tongues), the lining dry. Original pull-cord and chinstrap (with small old repair).

Note: One of the best examples of the early, M35 pattern, double-decal, German steel helmets currently for sale.

Provenance: The helmet purchased in the early 1970s from Call To Arms, Islington, London. Call To Arms founded in the 1960s/1970s, by rock singer, Chris Farlow. The helmet in one collection since the 1970s. Recently consigned for sale.
