Hauptmann Siegfried von Eichhorn

Luftwaffe Ehrenpokal (honour goblet) made in 835 silver, and awarded to Major Siegfried von Eichhorn. Fine silver goblet  with fighting eagles in relief to one side, and relief Iron cross to the other. Towards the base, the recipient's name, 'HAUPTMANN SIEGFRIED VON EICHHORN', along with the award date '20.6.41'. Underneath the base is the full Wagner & Sohne maker marks, along with the 835 silver marks. The goblet contained within a fine post-war manufactured case with side opening panels to display the goblet. 

Condition report: The goblet surviving in excellent towards mint condition. Free from dents or other damage. Some age darkening.
