Waffen-SS general rank visor cap

 Waffen-SS general rank visor cap  for sale, made by Erel. The general rank visor made from fine quality field-grey ribbed gabardine cloth, with silver-aluminium piping and black velvet capband. The nickle-silver finished eagle, swastika and skull badge insignia are both neatly positioned and firm.

The silver-aluminium capcords are secured by fine silver-aluminium pebble finish side buttons. The ‘Extra Quality’  Erel lining in gold-coloured silk with full celluliod diamond bearing the silver-blocked Erel trademark. The mid-beige leather sweatband with typical ventilated front, and  silver-blocked Erel trademark to the side.

Condition report: The SS visor cap in overall very good service used condition, and free from any moth. The nickel-silver insignia has toned with age, and remains uncleaned. The visor with good black polished finish. The lining shows some overall use, the celluliod diamond is split in a few places, but complete. The silver-blocked Erel trademark generally clear and legible. The mid-beige leather sweatband shows light use, but is free from splits or other damage.
