The Tutima pilots chronograph wristwatch remains the iconic watch of W.W.II. This  early 201 series is the pinnacle of the Tutima collector's dream - heavy nickel-silver plating, bezel with pointer, and that oh so beautiful full gilted movement with fine regulation. It just doesn't get better !

Luftwaffe Tutima Glashütte chronograph for sale. The double-button, Luftwaffe chronograph pilots watch, with nickel-silver case, revolving milled bezel with protruding pointer. Black dial with digits 1-12, 60-second, and 30-minute subsidiary counters. The Tutima trademark and Glashütte name positioned beneath the 12.00hr digits.

Reverse with typical screw case-back bearing serial number ' 201 159'.  The inside to the screw on case-back stamped, 'WASSERGESCHUTZT' and 'UHRENFABRIK A.G. GLASHÜTTE (Sa).' The early 201 series movement  retaining the beautiful full mercuric gilted brass bridges with polished, steel mechanism. Fine balance with screw-in weights. Early regulation. A modern black leather strap fitted to this watch.

Condition report: Case in very good towards excellent condition. 98% nickel-silver finish overall to the case. 

Stunning original black dial in near-perfect condition and with good patina. The Tutima logo clear & sharp. Hands and dial with all original lume. Case-back near-excellent condition: the serial number clear. The movement clean. The movement functioning. No warranty implied.
