Heer M40 combat helmet with tropical sand-tan camouflage. The helmet  with a thick applied sand-tan camouflage paint over the dark green paint. The helmet complete with original lining and chinstrap. The lining in mid-brown leather. The helmet shell stamped 'Q 66' and with a batch number of '1334'. The original owner's initials (T.L.) painted to the inside back rim.

Condition report: The helmet showing much general combat service use overall. Helmet retaining approximately 90% of the original thick sand-tan camouflage paint over the factory dark field-grey paint. Chinstrap retained, dry, but complete. Lining showing general use (dry) untouched.
