Allach Porcelain figure of an RAD man

Model 77

The Allach porcelain RAD Man (model 77), remains one of the more elusive, and coveted figures made by Allach. The white-glazed German porcelain figure, modelled by Prof.Theodor Kärner, exhibits a wonderful sense of duty.

It is believed the Allach porcelain RAD Man figure was released in 1938. Just 56 pieces were made from 1938 to 1939. Furthermore, since manufacture was unlikely to accelerate during the war years, the 'RAD Man Series' may have be limited to approximately 100 pieces.

The base to the porcelain figure shows the model number 77, T. Kärner name, and the SS Allach Porcelain maker-mark.

The Allach porcelain RAD Man confirms the technical excellence and fine craftmanship associated with SS Allach porcelain manufacture.

Condition report: Remaining in excellent condition, free from chips or other damage.
